Our Chairman

Meet Leon Tupper our founder, majority stockholder, and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Leon has many years of experience as a successful businessman. Along his journey he has:

• Served on the Board of Directors for many organizations i.e. civic, academic, denominational, public and private,
• Been a strong advocate of continuing education and training,
• Managed the Purchasing Department of a major domestic automobile manufacturer,
• Served eight years as the Director of Sales & marketing for a major automotive interior supplier
• Managed a sales function with eight exceptional resources serving all North American automotive manufacturers,
• Led a joint venture with the largest Japanese steering wheel manufacturer, Toyota-Gosi,
• As President & CEO, built a very successful custom injection molding business supplying all major North American automotive manufacturers,
• And, most importantly . . . founded Arete industries, Incorporated ... a small injection molding,light assembly and logistics firm providing services to Northern Michigan manufacturers.
  

Leon spends a major portion of his time in our Sales and Administrative offices in Southfield, Michigan where he keeps a close watch on the pulse of the automotive industry. Leon is an enthusiastic, enjoyable person you owe it to yourself to meet. Leon manages the Sales and Administration offices of the company located in Southfield, Michigan as well as maintaining a significant presence at the production facility in Boyne City, Michigan. Leon is an enthusiastic, positive individual with a strong interest in the continued development of domestic manufacturing capabilities, especially the Great Lakes region. Leon is always interested in discussing opportunities to keep Americans working.
